The Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) programs and evidence-based workshops reflect our mission of championing active and collaborative learning strategies; fostering inclusive, equitable classroom practices; and supporting a diverse, vibrant pedagogical community at WashU.

The Writing Center

The Writing Center provides free, one-on-one writing tutorials to all WashU students for any writing project, at any stage of the writing process (including dissertations!). They also offer a variety of writing workshops designed to help you become a better writer.

The Speaking Studio

The Speaking Studio, a service of The Writing Center, provides free, one-on-one tutoring for any member of the WashU community for any public speaking project. They can help speakers at any stage of the process from generating ideas to developing a speaking outline to planning visual aids.

The Center for Career Engagement

The Center for Career Engagement (CCE) serves all students at WashU, including graduate and professional students. They provide workshops, 1:1 counseling and a range of online resources for your career search.

Tech Den

Tech Den provides technology services to the WashU student community, with a focus on graduate/professional and non-residential students, including laptop purchasing guidance, laptop repairs/loaners, network connectivity, email, printing, and software support.

Grant Writing Resources

InPrint – A Scientific Communication Network

InPrint is a trainee-run scientific communication network and resource that provides free, confidential editing, schema design, and presentation consulting services to the WashU community.
