- Examples of eligible accountable expenses: transportation (by the most economical means available), lodging (excluding food), conference fees (e.g., registration, abstract fee) and any expenses related to the paper or poster presentation (poster printing, etc.).
- Examples of ineligible expenses: membership dues, books, meals, alcohol, toiletries or prescriptions, sightseeing activities, souvenirs, lodging incidentals (movies, mini-fridge purchases, video games), passport and visa applications/fees, any purchases without receipts.
Award recipients will receive funds as a reimbursement and must submit a copy of their travel report and receipt copies documenting expenses (no later than 30 days following their conference). Full details about the reimbursement procedure will be provided to award recipients.
