Join TGC and the Missouri Historical Society for this walking tour! St. Louis is a city steeped in soul and grit, and no place proves it more than Cherokee Street. Once known as the downtown of the South Side, this colorful 1.5-mile stretch transcends political, socioeconomic, and cultural boundaries like no other, reflecting the overall dynamics of the larger city around it. If we took all the different ingredients that make St. Louis an interesting, inspiring, and challenging city and put them in a blender, the resulting smoothie would be Cherokee Street.
TGC will provide transportation to and from Cherokee Street, plus lunch at a restaurant on Cherokee street.
